The safety and immunogenicity profile of VLP-based vaccine have been evaluated in large-scale trials and results suggest that that vaccine has an acceptable safety profile, is generally well tolerated, and induces a robust and sustained immune responses [7], [30], [31], [32], [33], [34] and [35]. Safety results from our trial are consistent with these previous reports.
