Using the non-invasive technique of measuring fecal corticosterone metabolites to determine glucocorticoid (GC) concentrations, we observed that the population density factor alone did not correlate with glucocorticoid levels. Our findings indicated a disparity in the seasonal correlation of GC levels depending on the density treatment. Following an investigation, 71 instances were found; 4 were sourced from our database, and the remaining 67 were unearthed via online searches.
