Participant selection, data collection and data analysis continued until theoretical saturation was reached and a rich description of experience had been obtained. In-depth interviews in Persian were used for data collection. Probing questions were also used to clarify information and gain additional data. The interviews lasted from 20 to 100

Seven interviews were done between January and April 2009 by the first author (H.H.B.) and eight interviews were conducted between March and December 2007 by one of the other researchers within the research team (D.K.Z).
